"Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-7

Have turned to those words countless times. Sometimes the need is greater than others, the worries a little more threatening, and the reality of getting beyond them seems a little less likely. But the promise is always the same.

And so again, when a day seems absurdly full, these words of comfort come to mind. With sometimes faltering faith it is especially the words "the peace of God, which passes all understanding" that are the most needed.  Even the possibility of faith is a gift.

The adventure continues, please strengthen and guide us Lord.

Pastor Randy

"We give thanks for our gifts of love and thanksgiving.  Help us give with hearts and minds open to the possibilities of what we can do to  heal the brokenness of our world.  Let our love travel where we do not, making pathways of peace where there are none, through Christ our Lord.  Amen."
