Sarah Boswell, Co-Director and PreK Teacher

Sarah grew up in Oklahoma where she earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She was as a 3rd grade teacher for several years before her children were born. Sarah and her husband Jimmy have 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 girl. They lived a few years overseas in Ireland before moving to Oregon in 2015. This is her 3rd year at KOK. One thing Sarah loves when working with kids is seeing the excitement on their faces when they make connections and when they discover they CAN do something on their own! When Sarah isn't at KOK, she spends her time at her kids' ballgames and activities, traveling, and enjoys cooking.

Kelly Novak, 3's Teacher

Kelly Novak studied in Nebraska and earned degrees in Christian Education from Nebraska Christian College of Hope International University and one in Elementary Education from Nebraska Technical Community College. She knew she wanted to work with children since high school! She has enjoyed many sectors of education from public to private to home schooling and has found a real love for teaching preschool! Kelly loves introducing preschoolers to the joy of learning and impacting their lives with how much Jesus loves them! Kelly met and married the love of her life in college, 36 years ago. They have 4 children, 1 boy and 3 girls. They are also blessed with 4 grandchildren. Kelly loves gardening, cooking, family and friends!

Wendy Roeder, Co-Director and Toddler/Parent Teacher

Wendy Roeder is a member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church for over 25 years and is on the Board of Kids of the Kingdom Christian Preschool since the Preschool opened in 2010. Her education earned her a BS and MBA from Arizona State University in Accounting. After 8 years in the financial arena, she focused on raising three wonderful children, two girls and one boy. They moved to 3 different states in a span of 4 years before returning to Oregon where they have lived since 1990. Wendy loves working with children and seeing the world through their eyes. Their joy and wonder are uplifting. Wendy just become a grandmother and feels blessed.
