The Concept

This website has been created for the use of both members and visitors of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran. It is intended to be informational, continuously updated with fresh content. More information can be quickly found on the Web than on the radio, on TV, and in newspapers combined. SOVLutheran.com allows SOV to participate in the growth of this raging media. The site was launched in November 1998.

The Design

The design of this site is structured so that ease-of-use and simplicity take top priority. Consistentency in design and layout, including the header, footer, and sidebar, help for easy navigation through the site.

Browser Compatibility & Accessibility

This site is best viewed using the latest in standards-compliant browsers, including Google Chrome, Internet Explorer v8, and FireFox v3.5. It is designed with XHTML and CSS to maximize accessibility using screen readers and other tools. Blog and podcast feeds are validated for best compatibility with readers and podcatchers.
